QTBIPOC Women: Shoot Your Shot!

I started my business four years ago, but I've never written about my work because I have always felt uncomfortable claiming space and have worked hard to stay modest and small.
Everything changed for me earlier this year when I found myself coaching and advising 50+ educators and leaders. Over and over, I noticed a disturbing trend: badass women of color downplaying literally everything - their success, achievements, responsibilities, and expertise. I mean, these were incredible, equity-minded, experienced BIPOC leaders that any organization would be lucky to have.
I felt outraged. I get how Imposter Syndrome affects women (I've been there) and how the workforce is designed to seriously advantage dominant identities over marginalized identities. But it really caught me off-guard to see so many overqualified, passionate women underestimating themselves.
I should have just looked in the mirror to see why it's so hard for women - especially women of color - to own our professional stories. I had always kept my head down in the workplace, never allowing myself to own my professional successes.
But I made a decision: no more hiding. I decided to just go for it and shoot my shot. I'm sitting in the discomfort of putting myself out there and I am on a mission to support 300 women - especially women of color - to claim space, articulate their worth, and write their own stories over the next year. What do you have to offer these women and why should they pay you to coach them?
